One day, about a month ago, I was wondering through the garden and found myself in front of the most beautiful rose I’ve ever seen…

I imagined it will be even more beautiful when in full bloom. It was, but not that impressive… My mood changed considerably as well…

However, that first day I had the idea to take photos of each stage of bloom and fading of this rose until it remains without petals, which didn’t actually came to pass, it still has one attached. I saved it like this. It would have probably lost that petal in another month or so.

I also took the opportunity to make a gif for a contest and keep the rose immortal since in this gif it never fades…

If you like it and have the time, you can click this link and then “Votează”. I know… Clicking twice… I also discovered on this occasion that following simple directions like the ones I just gave is hard …and we hope the world will change for the better… 😄 Don’t hold your breath.
Anyway, I finally finished the gif with the almost entire life of this rose and I must say it’s been a learning and exciting endeavour.
First of all, this rose lasted longer than other roses “born” after him. They (not sure who they are but that’s what they say) say that a flower given with love lasts longer. Well, this flower was loved, but I wouldn’t have given it to anyone but itself.
Another thing I loved observing were all the insects that were hosted by the flower… and that my dad was trying to kill because they ruin the flowers… I think they need each other.
I do not know if I will do anything will all I have gotten from this experience, except that I will definitely (this is to say maybe) create other gifs.
