Hot takes 2026

Hot take 1: Tantra is feminine as confirmed by Martin Wilson and Padmasambhava:

Although Bodhisattva images evolved from masculine – heroic to a sublime combination of inner power and com- passionate softness, which strikes us as feminine, Tara could be accepted as a female Buddha only thanks to the rise of Tantra. There women are revered as the source of wisdom. Guru Padmasambhava, the main introducer of Tantra to Tibet, is reported to have said:
The basis for realizing enlightenment is a human body. Male or female – there is no great difference. But if she develops the mind bent on enlighten- ment, the woman’s body is better.

Tantra is action. Shakti is action/ creation, whereas Shiva is unmoving. Tantra is also ritualistic and one can also observe that most religions are, in fact, tantric. Historically, women practiced rituals, which led men to call them witches, while appropriating the rituals and using them to harm and control instead of for the well-being of others.

Hot take 2: Parvati/ Radhe taught AdiYogi/ Krishna and not the other way around. She taught him, so he could teach other men, as historically, men don’t listen to women, at least not since the rise of patriarchy, which is about the same time yoga appeared in India. It is very likely that women noticed a rise in male violence and concieved a path to calm them the fuck down.

However, men thought that this meant that they were chosen for the spiritual path and women were not worthy, when in fact women didn’t need all this teaching as it was already in their organism, the direct connection with nature and the beyond.

Here are some statuets from Neolithic period, some 2000 years before yoga has reportedly appeared in India, of women in lotus pose.

There are no statuets with other asanas, and nor are there statuets with men in lotus pose. For the later, I would argue men weren’t practicing this, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t understand the value. Moreover, most of the spiritual endavour was done by and around women figures, at that time. Regarding the other asanas, their purpose in yoga is to settle the body and the mind. Women in their organic medium, namely in non-urban spaces, don’t really need that preparation. Therefore back then, women could just sit down and meditate. I would dare venture that they could connect with eachother in the common consciousness, hence why there is not much evidence of verbal or written language.

Unfortunately, after millennia of oppression, that connection is quite obscured, but it is still there. The closer we can get to understanding how women were deeply connected is by looking at the Arborigines tribes, which retain still the ancient way of life. Marina Abramoviç recounts in her memoirs that those women could speak telepathically and the energy of that place and those women enabled her to do the same, as well as have other remarkable experiences.

This is why spiritual practices are made by men for men and do not benefit women always. We don’t need all that crap. We just need to reconnect with our true being which resides under all the limitations imposed by society which we have integrated since we could walk and talk.

Hot take 3: Reaching the supreme consciousness (which most call God) via prayer, music, dance, images, connection with monks or nuns/ priest(ese)s or other enlightened beings or different substances is not a direct knowledge. Even knowing with your mind is not truly knowing as that is only a cognitive knowledge. So you can’t know the truth cognitively, only experiencially, but that experience must be direct, so beyond body and mind.

Otherwise said, there is no objectivity in thinking or using language. If the mind interprets, everything is subjective. You can’t know what your eyes see, only what your mind interprets from what your eyes see. Same for the other senses. So if spiritual people sound crazy, it’s because they are tring to explain something which cannot be explained. So whatever they say is shit. Every opinion is shit. Some may work for you, some may not. If one works for most, and not for you, have a more suited opinion for yourself. All the while understanding that what works for you does not and should not work for everyone.

This being said, opinions which denigrate, dehumanize, oppress and are abusive should not be tolerated and whomever holds them as being good for them should have a better look at themselves because no one who is well will chose to hurt someone else, nor will they be ofended when faced with hurting someone by accident/ ignorance. They will assume responsibility. After all, we will make mistakes and some might hurt others. Especially, in this mess we are in. However, one is only responsible for their actions, not for other people’s emotions. For instance, if me dancing through the streets embarasses you, that is very much a YOU problem. As you can tell, I am very sick and tired of men using their emotions to manipulate women by holding them responsible for their feelings. I know this is a systemic problem, but men also need to do something about it. From a certain age, the fact that one didn’t learn something as a child is not an excuse anymore.
